How to Book

If you would like any more information about anything you find on our web site, or anything else you think we might be able to help you with, please email us, or give us a call.

Tel 01728 746916

If you would like to book the Lodge or a place on the campsite, you can email sarah@valleyfarmonline for availability. We can take a deposit by debit card over the phone in order to confirm your booking.

For Riding lessons, usually people book by phone, on 01728 746916 or make their next appointment in the office, when they ride. We are open almost everyday (except Christmas & New Year and Mondays & Tuesdays during school term time), so if you would like to visit the yard in person, and see the horses and staff before booking your lesson, feel free to do so, but it is often a good idea to phone us first to arrange an approximate time, so we can look out for you.

If you have not ridden with us before, when you book we will need to know your height, weight, and riding abiltiy, so we can match you with a suitable horse. (Our weight limit for riders currently is 13 stone).

When you arrive please report to reception, from where you will be introduced to your instructor.  They will help you to fetch your horse from the stable and assess your ability as you ride and be able to advise you about which horse you should chose for your next lesson.

We ask that new riders arrive at least 15 minutes before the time of their lesson. This provides time for the 'new rider assessment form' to be completed and gives us a chance to answer any questions you may have, as well as fit you with safety head gear and boots if you do not have your own.  If you like you can print off your own copy of the 'new rider assessment form' by clicking on this link, and fill it in at home, ready to bring it with you.

We prefer to be paid by debit card or cash, we also accept child care vouchers.  We are able to take debit card over the phone when you book, or you can pay in reception when you arrive. (Please note that there is a small extra charge for credit cards.) For some things we require a deposit.  Cancellation fees may be charged if sufficient notice of cancellation is not given. Click here to see our price list.

We look forward to welcoming you to Valley Farm.
