British Riding Club

There are over 500 affiliated British Riding Clubs in the UK, and we are very proud to have one of them at Valley Farm.

Our Official Launch for our new club will was on April 2nd 2017. It was hugely successful, with a great deal of interest shown, and plenty of good ideas shared. If you would like to know more about the group and what we get up to, then please ask in reception at Valley Farm.

Anyone can join in with the fun. Members and non members, horse-owners and non-horse-owners are welcome at our events - both to take part and/or spectate. (Members will enjoy special benefits outlined below)

Membership forms are available from reception. We also have a dedicated facebook page where members can catch up with each other at times when they are not able to make it to the yard.

The club gives BRC members the chance to ride, compete and train together at all levels and to take part in not only our own competitions, training and social events but also the opportunity to join in with national events.

We aim to meet regularly on the first Sunday of each month. Membership is just 15 per year, and includes:

A quarterly Rider magazine from British Riding Clubs,

The use of the facilities at Valley Farm,

Teaming up to enter Interdressage competitions with prizes and rosettes each month

Membership card with many exclusive offers and discounts

Regular clinics, demos, and riding and social activities.

The club is run by the members for the members, so you can join in, share your ideas, and help organise events that you are interested in.

Coming up:

Horseback archery demo and have a go session April 23rd

Showing Clinic with Sonia Crowe-Bland 7th May

Side Saddle demo and have a go session June 4th

If you 18 or over and love horses then you could join our club. You don't have to have your own horse, as riding is available on our lovely horses at our centre. You don't even have to ride if you don't want to. There are plenty of opportunities for you to be involved. Perhaps volunteering at competitions or helping on the commitee to organise events and clinics. Whatever your interest we would love to hear from you.

If you are reading this and you work in the equestrian industry or have a specific skill that you think our members might be interested in, and you would like to give a demonstration or a talk, then please get in touch.

For contact details click here. If you would like to arange to visit the yard to find out more about what goes on, you will be very welcome.
